From December 11 to 12, 2014, the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University launched the first stage of the Basic skills Competition for young teachers - the Flipped Classroom teaching Competition based on micro-video。A total of 82 young teachers from six groups of Chinese, mathematics, English, Literature, science, and Phonology participated in the speaking contest, among which 23 teachers were from Chaoyang School, Yongfeng School, Shangdi School, and Qinhan School。90 judges scored the teachers' lectures according to seven indicators: teaching content, micro-video, learning situation analysis, teaching method, teaching process design, teaching evaluation and personal presentation. School leaders and teachers who did not participate in the competition participated in the lectures。Finally, each group of winning special prize teachers will participate in the second stage of teaching display。

In order to ensure the high level and high demonstration of teaching in the second stage of the basic skills competition for young teachers，On the afternoon of December 15th，Tsinghua High School held the second stage of teaching demonstration，Party Secretary Fang Yan, Teaching management Center director Yin Fanyu, Zhu Pei, deputy director Zhang Su，The teaching and research leaders and six teachers who stood out from the lecture stage attended the meeting。At the meeting, Deputy Director Zhang Su made an in-depth interpretation of "micro video and flipped classroom";Secretary Fang Yan explained the key points of the classroom under the flipped classroom mode: micro-video is a technology serving the classroom, and the teaching method with teachers' personal characteristics is still important, and the teaching effect and students' deep learning are the key。Finally, the participants discussed the difficult problems in the process of teaching display。

The Basic Skills Competition for young teachers in the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University is a practical exploration of the research and learning mode of "expert guidance, team mutual assistance and personal reflection", aiming to improve the professional level of teachers and enhance the classroom teaching effect。The second stage of the teaching demonstration will be held on the afternoon of December 19th, when the International Department teachers specially invited by Tsinghua High School will also give a teaching demonstration of flipped classroom mode。
